Our Story
Blessings, I am Genevieve Sevilla. My family and I reside in suburban Maryland, just outside the heart of Washington DC. For 28 wonderful years, I have walked through life with my husband, Jose. We are the proud parents of four sons, two daughters-in-law, and two precious grandchildren. Our home remains full of life with our 11th-grade son and our 4th-grader, whom I am homeschooling. Our journey with the Lord began nearly three decades ago. My husband uses his spare time sharing the Gospel through evangelism, as I continue my studies. We are truly thankful for every new day the Father gives us to grow together in His love and to witness lives being transformed by the incredible, saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Leadership
I currently hold Level One and Level Two diplomas from the Ministerial Studies Program at Global University, along with a Certificate in Christian Counseling from Presence College. I am now completing my undergraduate degree in Pastoral Counseling at Global University.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I have founded and led several prayer initiatives, including Prayer for Our Nation, Public School Parents Pray, and various altar and intercessory prayer teams.
During my studies, I had the privilege of aiding our Executive Pastor in launching an outreach ministry. This involved designing evangelism curriculum and establishing the core structure for ongoing missions in Annapolis MD, SE Washington, DC, and a local women’s shelter.
My experience also included participating in street evangelism and intensive mission crusades in West Virginia under the mentorship of Evangelist Gerald Mayhan. Today, I continue to teach evangelism and speak at churches to empower the body of Christ to share the Gospel and launch their own local community outreaches.
Furthermore, I serve as a facilitator for Cleansing Stream, a powerful discipleship and deliverance ministry. This service involves a transformative six-week seminar that concludes with a special retreat each fall.
Ultimately, my heart’s passion is rooted in prayer and a deep desire to see the church grow in spiritual maturity, ready to reach their community, and fully prepared for the return of our Lord!
